Application for Teach Me, Teach Others and Money Mentors

Welcome to the online application for the Money for Life qualifications.

Before you apply, here’s a reminder of the three fully-funded training qualifications available:

  • Teach Me: An online course to improve knowledge on a range of topics to enable participants to provide money management sessions and one-to-one support.
  • Teach Others: A two day course which enables those who are not qualified teachers – such as community or advice workers – to gain the teaching skills to run money management workshops.
  • Money MentorsA two day course that gives college staff and community workers the knowledge and mentoring skills required to give one-to-one money management support.

The online application should take around 20 minutes to complete, starting with a self assessment to ensure you are applying for the most appropriate course to meet your needs.

Please note that you can’t save your application and come back later, so we recommend you allow enough time to complete the form in one go. If you’d like a chance to prepare your answers before you apply online, you can download a copy of the forms here:

Please note, we currently do not have any further fully-funded places on our Teach Others and Money Mentors courses until our programme restarts in September 2013. Courses will continue until Spring 2014.

Please complete the online application form to apply for a place on the next academic year's courses.

A limited number of fully-funded places are still available now on the Teach Me online course. Please complete the application form below.

Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you do not get a place you will be included on a waiting list to start the course in September 2013.

If you or your organisation is able to pay the costs to do Teach Me (£200), Teach Others (£350) or Money Mentors (£350) and you do not want to wait until September, please email us at [email protected]
